Article Marketing for Traffic – Turn Readers Attention Into Traffic!

Many people these days are aware of the power of article marketing for traffic generation. Article marketing is one of the best methods as it is a one time, set and forget method to rope in a great amount of traffic. The best part is, once you’re done with article marketing, you’re halfway done with traffic generation. So here are some tips for you to take note of when using article marketing for traffic.

Article Marketing for Traffic - Turn Readers Attention Into Traffic!

Tip #1: The Right Keywords Matters

When you are crafting your article, always remember to use the right keywords that you want your article to be found for. It is best if you could use the Google Keyword Tool when searching for the proper keyword to use just so that it is easier for your article to be found and indexed (possibly ranked, too!) by the search engines.

Also, be sure for your targeted keywords to have a keyword density of 1% to 2%. This means that your targeted keyword has got to appear once or twice in every 100 words. This is all for SEO purposes, so that it becomes easier for your articles to be indexed in the search results. Remember: you want your article to be keyword-rich; not keyword-stuffed.

Tip #2: The More Articles, The More Traffic

Another tip to keep in mind when doing article marketing for traffic is that article marketing is a numbers game. This means, just for one link alone, you will need to churn out as many articles as you can to drive in the hordes of traffic that you want. Another reason to this is that, not every article you write will bring in the traffic that you want, so it’s best to submit as many articles as you can in the article directories.

Many marketers that I’ve seen recommend an average amount of 10 to 15 articles per article campaign. This means, they will write around 10 to 15 articles promoting just one link before writing another 10 to 15 articles promoting another link.

Tip #3: Put a Compelling Call to Action Statement in the Resource Box

Always put a compelling reason for your readers to go to your website. Maybe you can tell them an irresistible free gift awaits them at your website that would give them more valuable information that they are looking for, or they will learn 12 more secrets to solve their problem on your website.

Avoid writing anything else that will boost your credibility; no one is interested in finding out more about you. If they were wondering about your expertise, they would be able to find that information in your author profile. Your resource box is only for inviting your readers to go to your website; surely you don’t want them to lose interest by talking about yourself, now, do you?

So there are the three tips for you to take note of when using article marketing for traffic. However, they are not the only tips that are out there. There are many more tips that are waiting to be discovered!
